Learn language in sequence…
Live it in context.

No word lists. No multiple choice. Walk up to a house, go inside, and learn a language the way you'd actually encounter it — one world at a time, in order, room by room.

How it actually works

01

Walk up to a place

Say each approach line out loud — your pronunciation is checked before you're let in the door.

02

Interact with real objects

Tap the bed, the coffee, the ticket counter. Every object teaches a real sentence, in the context you'd actually need it.

03

See how it's built

The Structure Studio breaks every sentence into its actual morphemes and grammar — shown right where it shows up, not dumped on you cold.

04

Prove it at the checkpoint

Do a handful of real actions in the room, correctly, before the world counts as done.

05

Move through a real sequence

Home, neighbourhood, school, work, travel, relationships, media, ideas, and mastery — eleven worlds, each one building on the last, in order.

06

Keep your progress anywhere

Create an account once, and your progress follows you across every device you sign in on.

Built for people who are done with flashcards

If you've tried apps that teach words with no grammar, or grammar with no real sentences, Sequence is the other thing: every word arrives already inside a real sentence, taught in the order you'd actually need it, in the context you'd actually meet it.

Terms of Use

Last updated: September 13, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account or using Sequence ("the App", "we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the App. If you are under the age required to consent to these terms in your country, you may only use Sequence with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. What Sequence is

Sequence is an educational tool for practicing Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, and a preview of Lojban, through interactive scenes, pronunciation practice, and grammar explanations, presented in a fixed learning sequence. It is a learning aid, not a certified or accredited language program, and completing worlds in the App does not constitute a language qualification of any kind.

3. Accounts

  • You may use Sequence without an account; in that case your progress is stored only in your browser and can be lost if you clear your browser data.
  • If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide an accurate email address, and to tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could harm, disable, or overburden it.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to the admin systems.
  • Copy, resell, or redistribute the App's content or source code without permission.
  • Upload or submit content through any admin or content-editing tools that is unlawful, hateful, or infringes someone else's rights.

5. Content and ownership

The language content, scenes, illustrations, and underlying code of Sequence belong to Sequence, except where a specific piece of content states otherwise. You may use the App for your own personal learning; you may not copy or republish its content as your own without permission.

6. Third-party services

Sequence uses Supabase to operate accounts and store data, and your device's own browser for pronunciation playback and speech recognition. Your use of the App is also subject to the acceptable-use terms of those providers. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared with them and why.

7. No warranty

Sequence is provided "as is." Pronunciation checking, grammar explanations, and translations are generated with care but are not guaranteed to be error-free — this is a learning tool, and language content should not be relied on for legal, medical, or safety-critical translation.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sequence is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to the App or these terms

We may update the App or these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use Sequence after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App, including specific accounts, if these terms are violated. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

If you use Sequence without an account, no personal data leaves your device — your progress is stored only in your browser's local storage.

If you create an account, we collect:

DataWhy
Email addressTo let you sign in and to show your account to you in the admin dashboard, if you're an instructor.
PasswordStored securely by our authentication provider (Supabase) — we never see or store your password ourselves.
Learning progressWhich language you're learning, which worlds you've completed, and where you currently are — so your progress follows you across devices.
Last login timeShown to admins to see who's actively learning.

2. What we don't collect

We do not collect payment information (the App does not currently process payments), precise location data, or contacts. Microphone audio used for pronunciation checking is processed by your browser's built-in speech recognition and is not stored or sent to our servers by the App.

3. Third-party services we use

  • Supabase — provides authentication and database storage for accounts and progress. See Supabase's privacy policy.
  • Your browser's speech synthesis and speech recognition — used for playing pronunciation audio and checking your spoken answers. This runs in your browser using your operating system's built-in capabilities.

4. How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (or ask us to), we delete your profile and progress data within 30 days.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, contact us at support@sequence-it.com.

6. Children's privacy

Sequence is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under that age. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

7. Security

We rely on Supabase's infrastructure and access-control policies (Row Level Security) to keep your data separated from other users' data and restrict admin access to only what's needed. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to the App.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to support@sequence-it.com.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you'd want to know before (or while) you start.

Getting started
What is Sequence?

Sequence teaches you a language by putting you inside real scenes — a house, a café, an airport — in a fixed learning sequence, instead of flashcards or multiple choice. You approach a place, go inside, interact with objects that each teach a real sentence, see how that sentence is actually built grammatically, then prove you've got it at a checkpoint.

Which languages can I learn?

Turkish, Arabic, Spanish, Japanese, and Portuguese all have a full sequence of eleven worlds. Lojban has a single preview world, since it's a constructed language with a tiny community — every sentence in it is checked against the official dictionary rather than expanded quickly.

Do I need to create an account?

Yes — an account is required to enter Sequence, so your progress is always saved and follows you across devices.

How it works
How does pronunciation checking work?

Sequence uses your browser's built-in speech recognition to listen to you say a phrase, then compares it to the target text. It's checking whether you said the right words — not grading your accent like a phonetics lab.

The audio doesn't sound right, or doesn't play at all — why?

Pronunciation audio uses your browser or device's built-in text-to-speech voices. Not every browser or operating system ships a voice for every language — if yours doesn't have one installed for the language you're learning, you'll see a note about it, and audio quality may vary. This is a browser/OS limitation, not something the app itself can always fix.

What level is this for?

Sequence starts from absolute zero — the first world assumes no prior knowledge — and builds up through eleven worlds toward more advanced grammar (passive voice, subjunctive mood, and more) by the final "Mastery World."

Can I use this on my phone?

Yes — the app is designed to work on both desktop and mobile browsers.

Accounts & data
What happens to my data if I sign in?

We store your email, your learning progress, and which language you're studying, so it can follow you across devices. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — contact us at support@sequence-it.com and we'll remove your account and data.

Something's wrong
I found a mistake in the language content — how do I report it?

Contact us at support@sequence-it.com and let us know which world, language, and sentence it's in — that's the fastest way for us to fix it.

The app won't load or I got an error — what do I do?

Try refreshing the page first. If that doesn't help, open your browser's developer console (usually F12) and note any red error text — that detail makes it much faster for us to fix. Then reach out at support@sequence-it.com.
